2007 – Toe Tragedy
2008 – Knee Tragedy
2009 – Mishaps
2010 – Annual Injury
Seems like this is going to be an annual event.
How I ended up ? Was cleaning my “new” apartment unit and some of the floor tiles bloated suddenly and some got cracked. So in the midst of pulling it up, the tiles broke and my thumb got cut. Kinda deep, can see the inner flesh and the wound is around 2 inches long. Awful lots of blood..
So got 4 stitches, 1 Tetanus injection and RM100+ gone… and more money to spend to fix the floors…

Don’t know whether this is an annual thingy or not, hopefully it’s not. For every year without fail since 2007, something involving injuries will happen to me. Let’s do some recap, shall we?
2007 – Toe Tragedy
2008 – Knee Tragedy
2009 – Mishaps
This year, my bike skidded when I was on my way home from office on April 9th, 2010. It was a damn rainy day at 4:00pm when I finish work. While driving along the Mahameru Highway, the car in front of me braked suddenly and I brake too. My front wheel went spinning out of control and I fell off from the bike.
Thank God that the injury was not as bad as the 2009 mishaps.

Went for a minor surgical procedure yesterday to take out 2 of my wisdom tooth that’s either rotten or causing pain. The top left one can be extracted normally but the bottom left tooth can’t and need to do some surgery to remove it. I was very scared at first. After some encouragements from fellow friends and church members, I finally have the courage to go for it.
The procedure was smoother than I thought. The dentist and the assistants were good. The dentist also took the trouble to explain the process of the surgery and some post-operative instructions. I’d say it’s a good service.
Still, during the surgery I was very tense…. the dentist kept on telling me to relax hahaha. Finally, after 3 anesthetic, 1 surgery and 2 extractions, 2 of my left wisdom tooth it taken out. So I’m less wise now. I took the 2 tooth back home with me as souvenirs since they charged a whooping 600 bucks for this surgery. :-)

Yesterday night as I drive pass Kerinchi Link after my gym workout at Menara Axis, I lost control of the bike due to slippery road and fell off the bike. Luckily I drove around 60 km/h otherwise the injuries will be more severe than this. I thank God that no car was around, otherwise I might be knocked down by any passing car.
Thank you Choong How for fetching me to clinic for dressing.
Now, I need to fix my bike, watch and myself. Lots of money will be involved
Here are some pics taken when I was waiting for Choong How (Might not suitable for some viewers)

Wow... it's more than a year already.
Anyhow, I injured my knee last Saturday at Malacca when carrying someone on my back and I suddenly lost my balance and knelt down with the weight of a full grown man on my back.
Luckily I have some Pharmacy student and a few friends helping me to clean up my wounds. A big thank you to Christina Kam @ Shanen Yap for the first aid.
For now, I'll have to go back to clinic everyday to do dressing.

On Sunday, Andrew and I initially decided before hand that we want to go to have dinner at Fusion Haven at Sri Petaling. But when I almost wanted to go out around 7:00pm, the sky starts to get dark and soon after that, the raining starts.
So I messaged Andrew that we have to cancel our food trip due to the rain. And I resorted to have a dinner at the food court near my house. The rain is getting heavier and heavier and shows no sign of improving. So I waited for the rain to stop before I can walk home.
As time goes by and the rain doesn't seem like wanting to stop, I was getting more and more pissed because so much time wasted waiting for the rain to stop. So I went to a hair saloon nearby to get a haircut. After finish getting a haircut, the rain is still raining heavily.
Impatiently I waited for another 20 minutes, finally I decided to walk home in the rain. And so I did, it feels good. Maybe should go walk in the rain more often. It might boost your body immunity.
Then on Monday, I saw the news about the flash flood in KL. Quite interesting. Pak Lah gives the water work department a surprise visit and we get to see lots of funny responses from the people in the department. Then we see some of our elected ministers which includes the infamous Tai Chi Master Mr. Sami Velu starts to Tai Chi the responsibility around instead of working together to resolve the issue.
Here are some pics I found on the net on the flash food around KL...

Just an update on the previous Toe Tragedy post.
Just went to a clinic for a minor surgery. It seems like the blood has pushed my toe nail causing tension and clot. So the doctor suggested 3 methods.
1. Remove the toe nail and clean up the blood clots.
2. Poke 2 needle in to take the blood out.
3. Take painkiller and let time do their work.
Obviously I opted for the best solution, to remove the toe nail and clean up the blood clots.
And so, I got my toe nail removed. It was damn painful. So right now I have to avoid getting my toe wet, everyday need to go back to the clinic for dressing, follow my brother to work and etc.
Thank you for those who cared for me.a
Yesterday just before I was going for jamming, the bag carrying my multi effector dropped on my toe. It was damn painful. The toe now currently suffering from internal bleeding inside the nail and I'm currently have difficulty walking because it's painful.
Hope that the pain will go off as soon as possible.
