Went to MPO yesterday to catch a concert by a collaborative band called "Unit Asia" which features musicians from Japan, Thailand and Malaysia playing jazz and fusion numbers.

The concert is jointly organised by Dewan Filharmonik Petronas (DFP) and Japan Foundation with cooperation with the Japan Embassy. This is my first time watching concert in MPO. The interior design and acoustic is great... (My seat has the best sound, of course.. expensive tickets).

The ticket

The reason I went to this concert is because Hiroyuki Noritake is the drummer. He is T-Square's ex-drummer. As always, his playing is splendid. Mr Isao's guitar is great too... very expressive improvisation works. Eizaz, Toro and I went to No Black Tie after the MPO showcase to catch the band jamming. I brought along the latest T-Square DVD as well with the hope that Mr Noritake will sign it but I didn't manage to get it signed because Mr Noritake went back to hotel to rest instead of coming to No Black Tie. *sigh*. Managed to have some short talk with Mr Koh "Saxman" in Thai language. Hahaha.... A humble person. How I wish I could converse in Japanese so that I can talk to Mr Isao.

Prior to the concert, I managed to drop by Isetan KLCC to get myself a brand new watch after I lost my Casio G-Shock. It's kinda saddening because the watch is a gift from my mom. I've been wearing it for 8 years already. Anyhow, here's the new watch that I manage to get from ODM.

Mr. Metallic. Nice heh?

Anything from Japan Foundation is usually quality stuffs. Your watch is canggih & good. I like big numbers, that's why I use Samsung phones.

Yar...... I knew it immediately when I saw the drummer's name on the band list.

    The RM110 is well spent.

Aiyar.. you missed one of the best performance in town. It has the best acoustics in Malaysia... not so much of the sound system, but the acoustics is the best.

Show you the watch tomorrow hahahha....
